Magma will attend from 3rd August the Exhibition called “Colinas en Magma” by Baltasar Pérez Colinas (León, Spain) who has announced that will donate to people from El Hierro all the sale profits from his work which will be exhibited from 3rd until 31st August, helping people who may need it after the bad consequences of the recent volcanic process in the island.
The gallery will do the first stop in the Canary Islands inside the project of an itinerant exhibition design by the own Colinas on his project “Art= social work”, which will take place on different Spanish and foreign cities. The coordinator of this exhibition will be the canary artist and actor Yamil Omar.
Baltasar Pérez Colinas was born in León, but he lives in Los Cristianos, Tenerife. Among his favorites technics he uses pencil, watercolor, oil and acrylic and within his discipline predominate painting, and recently, Pop Art and Conceptual Art. The sample will include 40 pieces among paintings, mostly large format, and 4 sculptures.

Reflected in his music, Tchaikovsky gives us a thousand clues to figure out what was his life, a man misunderstood by his contemporaries, self-conscious and depressed. He never exteriorized their feelings, lived secluded in itself, concerned by criticism of their peers. He transformed into music all what he could not say or act out, using music as the only possible way to express their secret desires.
In any less cultured and refined person, with the weight of fear on his shoulders, his art would never have come to light, but Tchaikovsky had a high spirit and turn into sublime music his thoughts and inclinations. His head was depressed or happy, never stopped creating new sounds, alert to any tune he heard on his travels which, magically turned into something wonderful. Prolific musician, he never felt alone in solitude, because his creations were with him in bad and good times. That was his life.
At the height of creativity, Tchaikovsky asked to himself what is his life, the truth of his life. These new discovered truths make the creativity to outbreak and help him to keep his own balance. This struggle advocates a tragic end.

The Municipal Orchestra of Contemporary Music in Adeje is a formation that emerged in 2007, consists of forty members and is headquartered at the Municipal School of Music in Adeje. It is made by teachers of the municipal school of music of Adeje, advanced students and professionals of popularity in the symphonic and popular music scene.
Its particular success is due to its performances on popular hits that are present in the recent memory of the public. It has the support of musicians from the Conservatory of Music faculty of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and musicians with experience in several symphony orchestras.
Its director and arranger, Juan Carlos Coronado Currea, is a composer who has several works written in different genres making it versatile in devising the final aesthetic and particular sonority, getting thrill the audience.
Not to mention the repertoire, the issues will come from the hand of subjects as Cinema Paradise by Ennio Morricone, Home by Michael Bubblé, Libertango and Adiós Nonino by Astor Piazzolla, Smile by Chaplin, and sung songs as Penita Pena, Spanish song par excellence in the genre of the copla, Canary Islands theme and other gems that will delight the vast majority of people.
The Spring Concert of the OMMCA is a cultural activity that aims to stress the amount of work being done by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Adeje as the axis of the different cultural and musical activities of the municipality.
Magma Arte & Congresos supports this initiative to facilitate and publicize the OMMCA activity.

As a prelude to the celebration of the seventh edition of Magma Festival, scheduled for next July 14, 2012, we began to warm particles of lava on April 7th with the MAGMA WARM UP. A feast that worships electronic club culture with a poster of unblemished career artists, led by "The Wizard" Jeff Mills: undoubtedly one of the brightest techno DJ and producer in the world, sharing a cabin with Barem, new Minus key seal and three important Canary artists, such as Javier Carballo, Hanfry Martínez and Toufik. A strong bet in full Easter, consistent with the select line of Magma Festival.
Magma has for the first time in Tenerife, the show HISTORY, a musical with more than 30 artists from 14 different countries
covering the history of music, from classics such as Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Strauss, Liszt, and Puccini, to more modern artists such as Queen, Abba, Michael Jackson, Shakira, Beyonce and U2, not to mention The Beatles, Frank Sinatra or Pink Floyd as well as internationally known Broadway musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Sister Act, among others.
That will be a rigorous two-hours live, with musicians, singers, acrobats and dancers interacting with an spectacular audiovisuals show.

Oslo String Quartet was founded in 1991 by violinists Geir Inge Lotsberg and Per Kristian Skalstad, viola player Are Sandbakken, and cellist Øystein Sonstad. The four members each had wide experience from playing with other ensembles and orchestras at home and abroad, coming together to form an élite group for refined studies of the chamber music repertoire. To begin with this resulted in an extensive series of concerts at the University Aula in Oslo, where Beethoven’s string quartets comprised the core of their programmes. In addition to other major works for string quartet, the series included several premier performances of works by Norwegian composers.

The children's choir of Saint-Marc (Choeur des Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Marc) was created in 1986 by Nicolas Porte, who has since become its music director and choir leader.
The mixed set consists of about 80 children between 10 and 15 years, all high school students of the College Saint-Marc deLyon. Before joining this choir, about fifty students complete a course in a pre-choir, which prepares them and gives them the notions previously necessary musical and vocal. The Boys Choir of Saint-Marc form the Choir of the Basilica Notre Dame de Fourvière since 1995. In that capacity, regularly chant the offices of the sanctuary.
Like other 120, this choir is part of the French Federation of Young Singers, is also integrated in the International Federation Pueri Choir, which includes thousands of children from all continents.
The repertoire of the choir gives priority to sacred music from Gregorian century, but also known for his portrayal of secular music, popular and folk.
Thanks to the quality of their work, the Boys Choir of Saint-Marc are gaining notoriety in France and the rest of the world.

The company was founded in 1989 by Russian choreographer and dancer Fayziev Timur.The "Moscow Ballet" is made up of some of the dancers and choreographers of the Ballets Russes, such as the Bolshoi and Stanislavsky and today is one of the largest companies in the country. Since its foundation has made more than a thousand performances and over 60 tours around the world: Japan, China, Taiwan, Italy, Switzerland, England, Spain, etc.. In 1991, the company was chosen by the great Rudolf Nureyev for his last European tour. The Moscow Ballet has an extensive repertoire which includes titles such as SwanLake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Dream of a summer night and their latest productions: Carmen, Don Quixote and Romeo and Juliet.
The story takes place in Germany in about 1850, in the house of respectable Stahlbaum judge, who along with his wife has two adorable children, Clara and Fritz. On Christmas Eve, the court offers a feast to which are invited the most respectable families ofNuremberg, as well as Clara's eccentric godfather, Herr Drosselmeyer, who is attending the meeting with his nephew, Daniel.
Drosselmeyer is a manufacturer of watches and fantastic mechanical toys. As a magician, has the gift to entertain the children for whom invents joyous dances and performs amazing tricks. For the Feast of Stahlbaum, Clara's godfather has a special gift for his goddaughter is not nothing but a Nutcracker, a wooden soldier that serves to break the nuts ...

Spanish theatre performance
Don Mendo's revenge play by Pedro Muñoz Seca, premiered at the Teatro de la Comedia in Madrid in 1918, becoming an instant success as a comedy set in medieval Spain. His success was so great that today is the fourth most performed play of all time in our country along with Don Juan Tenorio, Fuenteovejuna and Life is a dream. It is also a tour of almost all the metros and strophic forms of Spanish poetry. The work belongs to the genre, created by the author of Astrakhan. The Astrakhan is a minor comic genre it only wants to laugh at all costs: the action, situations, characters even decorated depend solely on the joke, which is usually comic pun and deformation of language.
Don Mendo's revenge is a work that abounds in wordplay and humor hits, an absurd reduction of the elements from the historical drama parody purposes. Joining trigger elements of yesterday and present obvious anachronisms, can also medieval characters that move in a world dominated by utilitarian morality of the time Muñoz Seca.
Argument
Don Nuño Manso de Jarama has a daughter, Magdalena, which was going to marry Don Pedro, Duke of Toro. She however corresponds loves Don Mendo, who is noble but poor. Magdalena, eager to thrive socially, want to leave Don Mendo and marry the rich gift but, deprived of the King. But Don discovers Magdalena in his quarters in the company of Don Mendo. This, ignorant of the plans of his beloved, swears to defend his innocence. Don Mendo states that entered the apartments of Magdalena to steal, is imprisoned and sentenced to death. Thanks to his friend the Marquis de Moncada Don Mendo is rescued and, aware of the real plans of his beloved, is dedicated to carefully plan his revenge. The drama in unbinding a bloody final scene.
